What is HCA – Hydroxycitric Acid (Garcinia cambogia) ?

Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) is a natural substance isolated from the fruit of the Malabar Tamarind (Garcinia cambogia), a yellowish fruit that is about the size of an orange, with a thin skin and, and deep furrows similar to an acorn squash. It is native to Southern India where it is dried and used extensively in curries.

WEIGHT LOSS– Preliminary research suggests that HCA may be a useful weight loss aid. HCA has been demonstrated to reduce the conversion of carbohydrates into stored fat by inhibiting certain enzyme processes.
